I use the package transmission-create, available with transmission-cli. I don’t use mktorrent because transmission-create automatically choose the best conf for size piece.

I use hexchat software to speak and to download through XDCC.

I sometimes write in french my subtitles, and in french we have a lot of diacritical Mark (signe diacritique comme les accents, tréma et cédille).
In rare case, the font does not support the acute accent or other diacritals marks.
